1. We DO NOT offer refunds of any kind. If for whatever reason you are unhappy with your service, please notify GEM Beauty Co. within one week of your appointment. There will be no charge as long as adjustments are not outside the realm of anything originally discussed at the time of the consultation.
We require a deposit to secure appointments that exceed one hour long.
Deposit will be 50% of scheduled service fee and can be made by calling 302-595-3217, or made in person at the salon.
If deposit is not made within 24 hours of scheduling; the appointment will be automatically cancelled.
Full amount of deposit will be applied to the balance due at time of visit.
Rescheduling more than 24 hours before appointment will allow transfer of deposit amount to newly scheduled appointment.
Last minute cancellations made less than 24 hours before appointment OR No Call/No Show cancellations will result in forfeit of deposit.
If you are running more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment time you may be asked to reschedule.
You will receive a text from our scheduling system that will provide you with a link to confirm your appointment. If you do not confirm your appointment through the link one of our client coordinators will reach out personally. If you still do not confirm or respond, your appointment will automatically be cancelled.
Tips are not accepted through our credit card machine. Cash or Venmo gratuity appreciated!
6. Gift Cards
We offer physical Gift Cards in salon. If you are unable to make it in store, a gift card can also be purchased via phone during business hours and will be emailed to you. Either way the gift card will remain on the recipient's profile in our system until redeemed. We love being a part of a wonderful gift you may give to a loved one, business colleague, client or friend. When you purchase a gift card from us, you are purchasing a promise that we will give the recipient the GEM experience.
Services vary in price depending on length of hair, thickness of hair, time required, and products involved. Feel free to schedule a consultation to answer any questions you may have.
8.New Color Clients
As always, we are constantly working on being able to serve you in the best possible way. We want to make sure you are en route to your dream hair and proper time is allotted for your appointment. If you've never sat with a GEM before we will ask you to contact us via email or text and provide us information to help achieve your hair goals!
